The National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR), is a women's organization that promotes patriotism, preserves American History, and helps to improve education by providing educational opportunities and scholarships for students. The DAR is known for its community involvement, educational programs, and dedication to our American heritage. It is headquartered in Washington D.C. and has local chapters across the U.S. and abroad.Â
